专家简介： Prof. Zhang is a Senior Research Scientist with Climate Research Division of Environment and Climate Change Canada. His main research focus is to understand causes of past climate changes and to project future climate. He served as a lead author for the IPCC Special Report on Managing the Risks of Extreme Events and Disasters to Advance Climate Change Adaptation and a lead author for the IPCC 5th Assessment Working Group I report. He is currently a co-chair for the WMO CCl/WCRP/JCOMM joint Expert Team on Climate Change and Indices and a co-chair for the World Climate Research Program Grand Challenge on Understanding and Predicting Weather and Climate Extremes.
